Today we read more color purple and started to get “underneath” the words, find out what the actual meaning for the letters & we watched the movie partial of it.

I know someone that served in Vietnam, the stories he told our family when he came back home was that he regretted going because his kids got used to their dad not being around so when he did come back they rarely had conversations, or even bonded.
