 Today we talked about claim, we used to same book fences to help us with claim, observation & etc. 

 Today we talked about using rhetorical logic in the real world when it comes to convincing someone to not do something, and then we continued reading fences

 Today we watched the movie fences & answered questions 9-19, I got to see why Troy treated Corey the way he does since I watched the movie, and actually seeing the emotions & feelings. Corey is young & his priorities are for things he wants, but Troy is more on responsibilities. 

 Today we read more of fences and wrote notes about Roy and his characteristics using the STEAL method. I learned new ways to break down characterization. 

 Today we read more of fences, we made notes, learned what a man is, learning what figurative of speech with debt is the devil 

 Today we read fences, Oprah went to Forsyth county during segregation and pretext were happening all because a black family wanted to move there.  

 

 Today we continued to work on our onepagers, I’m almost done, I found some nice quotes that correlate with eachother & etc. 

 Today we read “the rock pile” about some young kids from the slums and how the rock pile was the bluff of their neighborhood. They disobeyed their parents number 1 rule which was don’t go there and when one of the kids did they got a bad outcome. 

 Today we read the story ambush, ambush was about a former soldiers daughter asking if he ever killed someone, he had to lie to his daughter because she was so young, I feel like the article makes sense, and reasonable, he is trying to save this conversation for when she gets older & more understanding. 

I know someone that served in Vietnam, the stories he told our family when he came back home was that he regretted going because his kids got used to their dad not being around so when he did come back they rarely had conversations, or even bonded. 

 Today we went over our test, I didn’t do so good but I also have a robe one when it come to poems because in my mind they can mean anything, but he showed us to how to use an up to date process of elimination.
